Day 7: Hardest things I have ever experienced

It's very difficult to say. As I grow older, each problem poses its own unique challenges that can't really be compared to each other.

In a class a few weeks ago, the lecturer did a mini personality test on us. It turned out I am a romantic realist. So, let me take the romantic route first for this post. I, in my life, has not even once had a romantic relationship (but hopefully I will in, hopefully, the near future). But this fact does not stop me from indulging in those feelings through watching dramas, reading, and drowning in feels even for a minor event. If I want to take this to a fanfiction-esque direction, I would say that one of the hardest things was stopping myself from blushing or palpitating after a brush of hands with my crush. It can also be stopping myself from smiling at the thought of that person. It can also be stopping myself from remembering every detail I can catch about that person: the song he performed at that event, the way he bopped his head with each strum of his guitar and the way he sacrificed one night of sleep to be with almost all of his circle friends after the exam. It's ridiculous how so much time has passed, and not doing these things still prove to be difficult.

Onto the more realistic side of this post, maybe I have to say that adapting is the hardest things I have ever experienced. My life has been a continuous cycle of adapting and stepping out of my comfort zone since 8 years ago. As much as I pride myself for being an adaptable person, it is still challenging. Each time, I have to acclimatize to the situations and the people around me, each combination is different from the last. It is also surprising how adapting back to a situation I called comfort zone a few years ago can be difficult too. But then again, no matter how difficult it is, such experience sure is valuable and would be something beautiful to look back to when I'm older.

The indecisive me still cannot confidently say that what's written above are truly the hardest experiences I've gone through. But, I guess it is difficult enough to get an honourable mention in today's post!
