Day 3: Top 5 pet peeves

Firstly, I would like to admit that I cheated a bit for this post. I can't think of more than 2 personal pet peeves, but I do know for sure that I get annoyed pretty often. It's just that it has to happen first before knowing that it's annoying to me (?)

The first one is easy: loud chewing. This is the very reason why I can't really stand most mukbangs. It sounds too... wet. I'm not the most graceful eater either, but I do try my best to chew quietly because I will annoy myself if I don't do so.

Second is when people told my joke louder and got credit for it. Back in 2012/2013, I was one of the more quieter kids in class. I mean, I was famous for falling asleep in class and all. Once, I apparently said something funny to this classmate. She retold the joke to the whole class and they said she's funny. The younger me was sad because I was never acknowledged as a funny person :( That's how it became a pet peeve.

The third is people smoking around non-smokers. My family happens to have this small store at home. Cigarette is one of the things we sell. It annoys me to no end when a buyer can't wait until they finish their transaction to smoke. Urgh, I'm breathing in your exhaust!  The problem is that I can't really forbid them from doing so because customer is king -.- I sometimes would purposely make my cough obvious just so they know that I don't like what they're doing.

Another good one would be the "you're/your" or "they're/their" mistake. It's simple stuff and yet such mistake is everywhere!

Last one would be queue-cutting! As I'm not the type of person who can push myself through a crowd, I always respect queue lines. Its concept is also fairer, those who come earlier would have to wait a shorter time. Queue-cutting defeats the purpose of queue lines and disrespecting the time spent by others behind the cutters! This also applies to car queues too.

Well, I guess this is the end of today's post. It's largely descriptive and as it is. I spent the whole day slaving away in front of the screen and I don't think I can type anymore today. Hopefully, there is a more interesting topic tomorrow!
