Flexible

EXO-K's Kai has this motto : I'd rather bend than break. Actually, I want to have this as my motto. I don't want to break, but I'm okay if I'm just bent.

Let's say you have a plastic ruler. It is indeed a useful thing, you can draw line and, sometimes, curves with it! This is simply because it is flexible! However, there's limit to everything. When you bend it too much, it will break. And just like this special ruler, I can break.

If I Die Young

I've heard about more than 7 deaths this past 4 months. I knew most of them, I knew the rest by reading news about them. What makes all these deaths scary is that these deaths are not expected at all. Some died in their sleep, some suddenly collapsed when they were doing their usual routine.

How would you feel when people that you knew suddenly taken by the angel of death in a blink of an eye? What would you do when you are facing the same situation?

Living in a Messed Up World

This world is messed up! At least, my world is. As a student, I can feel many negative changes that are happening.

I often see things in negative perspectives nowadays. I really don't know why. Stress? Home-sick? There's just no answer for this.
These days, I easily hate things and people, especially teachers.

My general dislike, or even hatred, to some teachers was triggered by just an event that took place in only 15 minutes. Since this event, I have been so skeptical about the concept that all teachers are nice. There are some teachers who are overly kiasu , there are some who are simply mean, some are just acting stupidly unreasonable. May be the way I describe their issues won't make any impression to you, but I think you will be very annoyed and have anger building up should you were in my shoes.

My mom said not to complain about my life, but she doesn't exactly know my conditions  since we are separated by seas and islands. This is exactly why I decided to rant here.
I don' want to write this longer,  I know it's annoying when you know someone is posting rants on his or her blog.

Chinese New Year: Then and Now

Chinese New Year has always been my most anticipated holiday of the year. Not only that I get to dress up in nice red outfit, I can also get some extra money from the red packets that my relatives give me. But that's not the point, it is the togetherness that I'm looking for since I can only meet everyone in my extended family on Chinese New Years.

I can still remember my Chinese New Year 4 years ago when I was still in primary 6.

I'm Just a Crumpled Up Piece of Paper

Since I came here, I finally understand the meaning of love, the love from family, friends, and even neighbours. But why do I have to realize this so late? Simple, it's because I've never felt really loved here. Sure, there are a few people who actually offer me a genuine friendship. However, actually there are more people who treat me like a robot that doesn't need to be loved.

Haylor ♥

Hi! Long time no see :p

Anyway, everyone knows that Haylor (Harry Styles + Taylor Swift) is like the hottest topic these days. Well, I know that this is not the usual topic that I talk about on my blog. However, I feel that this topic needs to be discussed because it's just... important for me. I just love both Taylor Swift and Harry Styles as individuals.

I can say that I'm a Haylor shipper but I still accept opinions that say how horrible this whole Haylor thingy because, evidently, Harry is like 5 years younger than Taylor, some people say that he actually likes 'cougars', and Directioners are afraid that Taylor will write another break-up song about Harry.

Malay and Me : Encouragement =D

Well, basically this article is a response, actually more like a gratitude, to some people who succeeded to encourage me to get through a MAJOR problem in my life, Bahasa Melayu. It is true that my journey with Bahasa Melayu has not ended yet, but at least I've finished the normal Malay O-level :D

Once, I said that Bahasa Melayu was my biggest enemy. That was the only thing that I
put emphasis to about Bahasa Melayu although, in some ways, it could be my friend. But why do I 'hate' it so much? It's because Bahasa Melayu is so similar yet so different from Bahasa Indonesia. It's just quite weird that you can't do well on something that, in a way, you have known for life. But then, the differences are the obstacle in this case. I've changed my mind set. Bahasa Melayu was and is simply something that I want to get over with. If I can do well for Malay in secondary school, then I won't have to take Bahasa Melayu as a subject in JC anymore :)
