Teenagers tend to give ‘special treatment’ to their boyfriend or girlfriend. Many people consider it cute or sweet but in my opinion, the whole lovey-dovey thingy that most teenagers perform in front of the mass is kind of exaggerated.
Despite the sweet memories of puppy love, most of this kind of relationship doesn’t last long. Many end with tearful break-up, shattered feeling, and broken heart. I can say this because I have seen it numerous times. I have learned the lesson by seeing my friends’ experiences.
Well, I am a 14-year-old girl. You can say that I am a teenager, but I do not want to believe in puppy love. I believe the most appropriate thing to do is to learn as well as we can and to make friends as much as possible. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend will restrain our freedom to make friends. If one makes a wrong step, his or her beloved will be jealous. Besides that, there is still another problem caused by this puppy love. Some brilliant friends of mine got some problems with their lesson after having a sweetheart of their own. But, that thing does not happen to everyone, it all depends on the people involved in the ‘love story’ itself.
So, this is my thought about puppy love. It is all up to you to believe it or not because however this is merely a theory that I summed up.
And they called it puppy love
Just because we're in our teens
Tell them all it isn't fair
To take away my only dream
