Friendship :)

Friendship, it is something that everyone desire and need. But, what is the so-called friendship?

My dictionary defines friendship as ‘the state of being friends’.  However, it is not as simple as that. There are some emotions involved, and sometimes, including insincerity. Some people want to befriend with somebody else because those people need their help, not because of the feeling of loving sincerely as friends.

But then, there is a proverb says “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. This saying does not suggest us to befriend with somebody because we need him or her, or just befriend with someone when he or she is in joy. No, it means that we still have to hold on and stand by our friends’ side in joy and sorrow. A real friend is the one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
