Ticket Purchase

I've never gone to any concerts, or any fanmeets in this case, so I can't really compare it to any other experience. I don't really know whether this is the standard, we can't choose our own seats. Everything is pretty much by luck.
Collection of tickets was a breeze. Relatively short queue because there is no competition involved. I kind of made friends (?) with some people. I love how most fangirls are so friendly! This is the first time I have interacted with other fangirls other than my classmates. So I was really happy :)
Fanbase and Fanproject
From what I gather from a veteran fangirl, donations for fanproject is common in Singapore. A lot of people donated quite generously too! I did donate too, but only 3 dollars because I was broke after buying the tickets and I simply didn't have much cash with me at that time.
I'm a bit disappointed on how the fanbases handled the administration. But then again, who am I to judge them? I'm just an inexperienced fangirl.
The problem was this: I donated 3 dollars and they listed me as a 2 dollar donor. Seeing this discrepancy, I e-mailed them to point it out just as what they wanted which is to report any error in the list. Their answer was beyond me. They said I indeed donated only 2 dollars because the money that they hold tallied with the list. If that is the case, why did I have to report the discrepancy if I will only be told I'm the one who is forgetful? I sort of let it go because I only lost 1 dollar. But can you imagine if I had donated 10 dollars or even more? I would be SUPER angry. On a side note, I hope this really only happened to me.
On to the banner collection. I felt that the fanbases did not deal with it professionally. Announcement about the collection was only given out the night before and I only read it really late at night. If I hadn't checked my twitter I wouldn't have collected what is rightfully mine. Furthermore, it was said that collection was 10am-2pm. That means that they will start handing out at 10, correct? Lo and behold, I had to wait from 10.30 to 11.15 before the one who was giving out my group share came. When I asked their whereabout, the person from the other collection group nonchalantly answered collection was until 2 so they will come a little later -.- If they had wanted to start giving out at 11 they should have said so in the announcement rather than making people wait.
Beyond that, everything was good. I felt like the money collected has been well used. And the banners from the fanproject looked good when they are lifted up together!
The Fanmeet
It started out a bit later than what is written on the ticket, but it was still within acceptable time range so I was okay with it.
When Day6 came out and started performing all hell broke loose hahah. The atmosphere suddenly became super alive. Everybody screamed and kinda went crazy. Well, I did too. I sang along to all songs and it felt even better hearing them live rather than listening to the fancams. It was much more captivating and magical. Even from row 14, I can feel their energy from the stage! OMG, if I had the chance I would totally relive those hours just listening to them perform!
There were 2 games that they played on stage. Throughout, Brian kept smiling so prettily while Dowoon kinda shyly waved here and there. The rest of the members were as lively! Jae especially was the most interactive with fans because he is a fluent English speaker. It felt good to hear him talk omaigad. His talking voice is rather raspy (?), just the kind of voice that I love love love ♥
Ooh, Brian's parents came all the way from Toronto to watch his performance! It's a poor thing that they got the behind seats :( But now I can certainly where he got his heavenly features lol.
On to the high touch! It was literally just a blur. I could only remember Sungjin and Jae, who were the first 2 people and Brian who was the last person. The TAP people started pushing us along starting from the third person. I didn't get to see Dowoon so well because of that TT. But anyways, Sungjin is much much much more good looking in person and he was super friendly. He would tilt his head a bit and smile to every single fan! I want to see him again TT Jae was charming (and damn tall too). Looked good with his new hair too! I held Brian's hand a little bit longer just because I could. If my memories do not fail me, he kinda looked dazed most of the time during high touch.
Then then then, I got quite lucky! I got to take a group photo with Day6 (and 9 other fans)! Out of the thousand odd fans, 200 was randomly selected and got the chance for this. OMG OMG OMG, I was so lucky!! I'll update this post when I get the photo! (Sorry for all the exclamation marks, I am just too excited!)
The Aftermath
I was high. I didn't know who to channel this highness with. Everyone was away and I needed to pack my room! I started re-watching the videos that I took during their performances and sang with a broomstick in my room :p The feeling was so overwhelming and I was just super happy the rest of the day! I will definitely go to another fanmeet or even concert when I have the chance :D
On a side note, fan gifts and fan letters were not allowed :( So my effort was kind of wasted. I tried sending them via Instagram just to try my luck. I hope they got to read those letters and fanart just because I spent so much time on them.
That's all from me! Look out for updates because I may add one or two fancams when I have the chance :D
Long live, Day6 :)
