Baekyeon

Yes, this is my second post about "ships". I wrote about Haylor and why they were so compatible. But I'm not here to talk about that in Baekyeon's case. I want to justify how it does not make sense to be mad and angry at them just because they are dating and using their Instagram account to give each other secret love letters. 

Many people has expressed their disappointment and anger towards both Taeyeon and Baekhyun, especially Taeyeon. She even had to kind of apologize publicly. This, honestly, does not make any sense. I can understand why those people who called themselves Sones and EXO fans are doing this. But, all in all, this is still not the right thing to do because, after all, they are also normal people. 

1. Both Baekhyun and Taeyeon are normal people too. They are just human who also have the right to love each other. Just because their idols, it doesn't mean that they don't have their own personal lives anymore. They always do, no matter what they are working as. They are not goods that can be bought and owned. Of course, we can obsess over them. It's our personal choices. Despite the choices that we made, we must still remember that no one can own them. Their body, their heart, their mind; all of them are their own's and not ours to have. So, it is really up to them who they want to fall in love with. 
2. They are just normal couple who want to show their affection to each other. I think it's really wrong how people think that Baekyeon are mocking their fans just because they are posting their coded love letters on Instagram. It's their accounts. They are free to do anything with their accounts. Besides, isn't it also a common thing that many couples in the world do? Why can't they do it too? They are also people, anyway. 

I also heard that quite a lot of fans cried when they discovered the fact that they are dating. It's perfectly normal. Maybe I'd cry too if Kai is the one dating. But, as (international) fans, we must be rational and realistic. They might not even know that we actually exists. So, we must let go and be happy for them :) 

I'm not saying that we must stop being a fan of them or even leave the fandom. What I'm trying to say is that we have to understand that this kind of relationship is bound to happen. People fall in and fall out of love many times, and this also applies to Baekhyun and Taeyeon. As fans, we can only continue liking and supporting them in whatever they do, be it relationship and what not. This, I feel, is what the true fans should do. Sticking with their idols through thick and thin. 

On a side note, I think Baekyeon makes a very cute couple :) Despite the fact that Taeyeon is 3 years older than Baekhyun, I still think that they suit each other. Last long! :D
