TWO-FACE

Two- face. What does it actually means? People who literally have two faces like the villain character in DC comics ‘Two-Face’ or people with two completely different personalities? I think the latter makes more sense.

Well, I came up with this because somehow I suddenly remembered about a character in a manga entitled ‘Kimi ni Todoke’. A character called Kurumi acted sweet in front of everyone but then she cunningly tricked the innocent protagonist, Sawako, in order to get her dream boy, Shota. Besides Kurumi from Kimi ni Todoke, Azuma from ‘La Corda D’oro’ also showed the same trait of behavior. He acted like the typical prince charming in front of everyone but he revealed his darker side to the main character, Kahoko. These characters had made me think about the existence of people with two faces in the real world.

Normal people will definitely like people with more bubbly and cheerful character. They are the people who, without hesitation, will show their mischievous side to everyone. These are the people that would instantly make friends with everyone around them. In short, they are your typical friendly people.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Outer appearance can deceive you. They may keep their darkest side and only show their hidden personality only to some people whom, for them, are disagreeable. They always show their amiable side to people whom they like. So, when the 'disagreeable people' want to tell the world how those two-faced people really are, no one would believe them. And people will think that this group of 'disagreeable people' is weird, and simply BIG FAT LIARS

Of course, not all nice people in the world are two-faced. The problem is, how can we differentiate them from the genuine nice people? This is still a mystery.

This two-face thing is a puzzle of life. Genuine kind people are sometimes hated by people, while two-faced people will rule the world because of their FAKE friendliness. What do you think about this?
