Drama Review : Dream High

I know this is a long long overdue drama knowing that it came out 2011. But, oh well, I just finished watching it today. I'll give some general comments so that I won't give spoilers, so don't fret! Here goes my short, swift and sweet review for this drama :) 

First impression :

My first impression of this drama is very good. The first few episodes were really a great introduction. They were rather funny and light-hearted yet able to convey the conflicts in the drama. So, that's good :)

Flow and Plot : 

The flow of the story is very easy to follow which is good for those viewers who enjoy watching drama for leisure. Simply put, you don't need to think much when watching this. Yups, so that's good. In addition, this drama also teach us a lot of good values such as about honesty, hard work, friendship and many more! These values are slipped into the story pretty smoothly, so you won't feel like you're being lectured :D

Having said that, there is no such thing as a perfect drama. There are some parts that will never happen in real life. Simply put, some parts are not realistic. I won't say which part because it will spoil the story. But, if you don't spot those then it's good because you can enjoy the drama thoroughly :)

Lastly, I feel that the last few episodes are rather rushed. This drama could use 2 or 3 more episodes to elaborate more on those moments rather than cutting them short. But, I believe the producers did it that way with a good reason because I can still grasp the gist of it. And I think all of you would still enjoy it anyways :)

Character Development :

All the main characters whom you can see in the poster actually show their development well. One or two did show rather awkward acting seeing their background as singers but it's within minimum levels so it won't disturb your experience watching this drama. I'd say they are really really good. I can see the way they develop the characters, the changes that they go through as the story goes on. I would especially applaud Kim Soohyun actually. Despite being a regular actor, he could pull off all the musical stuffs. So yeah, job well done :D

Conclusion : 

I enjoyed this drama so much :) I would recommend this drama definitely, especially to those who enjoys music and also rather light-hearted drama (y).
